Yorokobi Taiko: Introduction to Shime

The shime-daiko (締め太鼓) is a small Japanese drum usually used for keeping time (ji).

In this video the “cowbell” starts for 2, joined by the shime for 2, and the rest of the song follows (play through 2 times). Find the song structure and patterns HERE.
